There is a self test on this site and some good practical advice. Fact sheets are extremely useful. Information on what to do and where to get assistance is also included. For the cost of a local call, the beyondblue info line provides callers with access to information and referral to relevant services for depression and anxiety related matters.
Find out more about depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder and postnatal depression. Symptom checklists are available on the Beyond Blue website as well as help to find a doctor or other mental health practitioner. There are fact sheets discussing treatments and the types of help available. There is also advice on how to get urgent help. There are newsletters, booklets, DVD’s and loads more. |

SANE Australia is a national charity working for a better life for people affected by mental illness – through campaigning, education and research. This website offers loads of information and resources aimed at helping, sufferers, their family, friends and the wider Australian community better understand mental illness. They offer a 24 hour helpline and also provide information and advice to young people whose lives are directly affected by mental illness. |
